Sunrise Service
At this time we are expecting to have a Sunrise Service on Easter Sunday at 6:53am in the Belle Ewart Park. If anything should change I will send out an email by supper time on Saturday.
Directions: From Ewart Street turn towards the lake on Arnold St. Turn right on Emily and immediately you will find the parking lot or park on the street
Protocol: We are in the Red Zone with faith based exceptions. This means we can have 100 people gather outdoors HOWEVER we must maintain 2 meter distance between “bubbles”. Masks must be warn if you are closer than 2 meters to someone not in your “bubble”. It is likely easier to wear a mask all the time as people are moving about. Singing must be low. (especially if you are a poor singer). There will be no song sheets so please print your own or bring them on your phone. Also there will be no offering
Due to restrictions there will not be a breakfast gathering after the service.
When you enter there will be a table with sanitizer and masks available. Please refrain from mingling after the service. There will be some pictures taken as we are to keep track of everyone who attends in case a complication develops.
MORNING HAS BROKEN
Morning has bro-ken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird.
Praise for the singing! Praise for the morning!
Praise for them, springing, fresh from the Word!
Sweet the rain’s new fall, sunlit from heaven,
Like the first dew fall, on the first grass,
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden,
Sprung in completeness, where God’s feet pass.
Ours is the sunlight! Ours is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play!
Praise with elation, praise every morning,
God’s recreation of the new day
HE LIVES
I serve a risen Saviour, He’s in the world today
I know that he is living whatever people say
I see his hand of mercy, I hear his voice of cheer
And just the time I need him, he’s always near
CHORUS
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today
He walks with me and he talks with me along life’s narrow way
He lives, he lives, salvation to impart
You ask me how I know he lives…..He lives within my heart
Rejoice, Rejoice, O Christian, lift up your voice and sing
Eternal Hallelujahs to Jesus Christ the King
The hope of all who seek him, the help of all who find
None other is so loving, so good, so kind.
