Welcome
Join us Sunday September 17th at 11:00 am for a Joint Worship Service and Picnic at Bradford Lion’s Park hosted by the South Simcoe United Churches Cluster.
There will be NO service at Churchill or Gilford United Church. This event is hosted by the South Simcoe United Churches Cluster made up of clergy and representatives of Bond Head United Church, Bradford United Church, Churchill Gilford United Churches, Lefroy United Church, St. James United Church, Trinity United Church, Beeton, Countryside United Church, Thornton, Schomberg United Church and Nobleton United Church.
Our goal with this gathering is to bring our congregations together, to get to know each other, to worship together and to share a meal. There will be “getting to know you” games, music, conversation, laughter and good food. The park offers ample parking, but we suggest you carpool.
NOTE: There is a parking lot on Colbourne Street near the tennis courts – don’t park there. Continue to the driveway just south of that parking lot which will take you right to the pavilion. There is a washroom facility on site. The pavilion is open sided, so bring warm clothing if the weather turns cool. There is a playground and splash pad nearby for children.
There is no electricity at the pavilion, so if you want coffee, please bring your own. Cold drinks will be provided. We will be extra bringing tables. Come and enjoy!
